ENGINE 33
Engine 33, a 1988 Pierce Arrow is the first due engine to all fires and the workhorse of the PAFD. It is equipped with a 1500GPM two-stage Waterous pump and a 750 gallon booster tank. Engine 33 carries a full compliment of engine company & truck company tools and it’s 5 man crew (4 in SCBA) is capable of functioning as either an engine or a squad at the scene of a fire.
The color code for Engine 33 is blue.

ENGINE 32
Engine 32 is the second due apparatus to all fires. Equipped with a set of Hurst hydraulic rescue tools (Jaws of Life), it is the first due engine to all motor vehicle accidents and rescue calls. Engine 32 is a 1995 Pierce Dash with a 2000gpm single stage Waterous pump and is powered by a 435hp DDEC series 60 engine.
The color code for Engine 32 is red.

RESCUE 38
Rescue 38 is a 1986/92 GMC/Ranger with a 14ft walk-in box and it responds first due on all rescue calls and typically third due on fires. Like both engines, it carries a full compliment of rescue company & truck company tools to allow its crew to function as either a rescue or a truck at the scene of a fire or rescue.
The color code for Rescue 38 is green.

TANKER 35
Tanker 35 is a 2000 New Lexington built on an International chassis. This apparatus is classified as a support unit, in that it supports the operations of the department’s two engine companies. It features a 2100 gallon elliptical poly tank, a Waterous 500gpm pump, three 10” cab operated electric dumps, two 2500 gallon Fold-a-tanks and a 600gpm portable pump.

UTILITY 34
In an effort to save money, but still purchase an extremely functional utility apparatus, all of the engineering and most of the fabrication on Utility 34 was performed “in house”. This apparatus is a 2001 Ford F-350 Superduty 4x4. It is the first due piece for all wildland fires and serves as the department’s primary QRS unit. It carries 150gal of water, 10gal of Class “A” foam, 600ft of 1” hose, and a full compliment of wildland fire equipment. As QRS-3 it also carries a full compliment of EMS equipment, including; jump bag, O2, AED and Med radio.
