Each year the Star Hose Company #1 holds an Old Home Week celebration which includes carnival rides, food and entertainment.  Taking place on the town square, Old Home Week is typically held Monday through Saturday on the last full week in July.

A few of the highlights of the week include a Kiddies parade, Quarter Bingo, Rides, Games, Pull-Tab tickets, and plenty of Food including “Bucko’s Famous French Fries.”  In addition to the nightly activities, a pay-one-price matinee runs on two different days during the week.
