| This morning Star Hose units were summoned to the parking lot of Sheetz to assist with a minor one car MVA involving a passenger car versus a parking barrier. |

At 1045hrs this morning the call came in for a one car motor vehicle accident at Sheetz at the corner of Main and Mill Streets. Chiefs 3 (Roys) and 320 (Ernst) responded immediately. Arriving quickly, Chief 3 assumed "Sheetz Command" and determined that a driver had impacted one of the heavy steel parking barriers that surround the store, resulting in only minor damage to the vehicle and the release of fluids from the radiator.
Command held all companies in quarters before they could respond and after sizing up the fluid spill, special called Utilty 34 to respond non-emergency with a crew to deploy the spill kit. Utility 34 w/4 (OIC D. Hobbs) was on the street at 1050hrs and once on scene, the crew went to work laying down absorbant pads to collect the fluids, which were then placed in a containment barrel.
All units cleared and returned to service within just a few minutes, opening up the parking lot just in time for the Sunday morning after-church rush.
